Our History:
Quality Children's Services was founded in 1998 with the vision of providing quality early education programs that prepare young children with the self-confidence, knowledge, and tools needed for a successful transition into kindergarten. Five minority women recognized the need of providing quality childcare to families in low income communities. With that desire to provide a much needed service, QCS was awarded the opportunity to open its doors to a state-funded Migrant Child Development Center in 1998, which served a total of 72 students.
QCS now has 20 centers opened in 5 different counties and serves over 2,000 families state wide. QCS, with its mission and history in mind, continues to dedicate itself to the families of California.

The QCS Foundation:
The foundation of QCS stands on the belief that providing children with a quality educational atmosphere in a safe learning environment will improve the quality of life for the children and their families. Through the use of developmentally and age-appropriate practices, QCS programs promote and encourage independence while meeting the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, cultural and linguistic needs of its community. We believe that in order to provide quality programs, we must ensure the recruitment and professional development of qualified and nurturing staff.
